Gandhi World Foundation is a Non – Political, Non- Profitable, Charitable and Social Service Organisation. It is a duly registered Trust.Its main objective is to strengthen the arterial root that will help bring about happiness and a change among the people through efforts focused on changes and to sow seeds through countless awareness programs and activities designed to enable the present generation to willingly accept Gandhian principles and activities that would bring about a major change in the society.

Gandhi World Foundation is in its possession, lots of stamps, coins, information and pictures of Gandhi statues, telephone cards and lots of valuable things related to Gandhiji. There is a bright chance for the students and the younger generation to get attracted towards Gandhian thoughts when they browse the site. By going through all these details, their respect for Gandhi will increase several folds.

This is the objective of Gandhi World Foundation. More than 130 countries have released stamps and coins in tribute of Gandhiji. Statues of Mahatma Gandhi have been installed in more than 100 countries.

We are forming a Core Committee to design the function programs and advise the Governing Body of the Festival on the celebration proceedings.

Gandhi 150 International Peace Festival will be a 10 days’ celebration and, the celebration will be one of a kind ever celebrated in any part of the world in tribute of the Father of the Nation.

The Purpose & Goal of the Festival

The Father of our Nation had a big dream about India after Independence. He has expressed his thoughts and ideas about the future India through several of his writings and speeches. Unfortunately his dreams of India as an ideal nation have been ignored by us all till date. Gandhi claimed himself as a practical idealist. Which means his ideals are not impracticable. Gandhi World Foundation, through this Peace Festival, wishes to initiate a process to carry forward his ideals with the goal of changing India as a role model nation for the entire world as dreamt by Gandhi, and thus change the present world into a world as visualized by Gandhi.

The present generation around the world is increasingly becoming corrupt in terms of immoral behaviors, greed, selfishness, ignorance of values such as discipline, love and respect towards fellow beings and what not. Gandhi World Foundation, through Gandhi 150 International Peace Festival, desires to address all the above issues and present the content of the event in such an innovative and effective way that it appeals to the present generation. And we are sure, this message of ours is will awaken the conscience of the global leaders too and penetrate their hearts.
